| The movements are made from best quality materials incorporating Jewel bearings, hardened & prescisely polished pivots & chemically treated Hair-springs for corrosion protection. All moving Coil DC and Rectifier type AC meters are fitted with Alinco high flux density magnets and have linear scale with knife edge pointer for accurate reading. All instruments are housed in phenotic moulded dust proof cases with zero adjuster accessible from the front and having back connections.

Resistance Coil
These coils are accurate to within ±0.5% and will serve economical standard or as unknown for studetn use with a Wheatstone Bridge or they may be used for laws governing combination of resistances in series and parallel. Comprising non-inductively wound of constantan coil and enclosed in a hexagonal moulded case. Two 4 mm socket terminals are provided on the top.

Standard Resistance
These resistances incorporate latest design and can carry comparatively large current without being heated. The resistances are immersed in moisture free and non-corrosive oil contained in metal vessels. Manganin coils are used which are throughly aged. Silver soldered connections are used. Standard resistances of 0.1, 0.01 and 0.001 ohm are provided with 4 terminals while those of 1, 10, 100, 1000 ohms are provided with 2 terminals only.
